Stoneybridge Primary School, South Uist, which opened its doors as an Evening School in 1879, shut yesterday (fri 28.3.10) with the eight remaining pupils moving to Iochdar School, approx 7 miles away. This gallery includes some archive material taken from a community exhibition to mark the school history.
