Reflected in the water at Firhill basin, the first craft to be launched as part of a unique boat building project - part of the Forth and Clyde canal - was named "Scotia Belle" by Chirnsyde Primary School pupils Carline Flavell and Gary MacKay, who also took the first voyage on the boat (see story) ...
