This image is FREE to use - Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure and Capital Investment Alex Neil was in Edinburgh yesterday (September 15) to announce a £200m initiative which will finance dozens of housing projects across Scotland. The £55m Innovation and Investment Fund seeks to boost supply through increased efficiency, greater leverage and encourages bold, innovative approaches to funding housing developments, which will be matched by £151m from housing associations, councils and developers. Mr Neil made the announcement while on a visit to the Port of Leith construction site at Ocean Drive.
