The first (press) view of the new £74m Riverside Museum in Glasgow included the newly created 100-year old "street" scene - now expanded and with many more echoes of the past than the iconic version that attracted visitors to the old Transport Musuem - pic shows former World Cycling Champion Graeme Obree (some of his old bikes form part of the Museum collections) re-uniting with one of his modes of transport in the "new" street. The new museum will house over 300 exhibits and opens to the public on June 21 - 01.06.11 - 07702 319 738 - www.donald-macleod.com - clanmacleod@btinternet.com
